Job Opening

Position Title: Electronic Marketing Intern

Supervisor: Chair, BMGA

Hours: 5 hours per week, flexible, plus BMGA meetings (1 hour per month)

Wage: $10/hour

Time Commitment: March - May 2010

Position Description

  • Work with PR Specialist to distribute e-newsletters, e-blasts, and other electronic communications
  • Research online media outlets and list BMGA events and programs
  • Maintain BMGA Facebook page
  • Research other social media tools and implement if approved
  • Attend BMGA meetings and present report
  • Research and identify web sites and blogs specific to travel writers and reporters
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A commitment to BMGA's vision and mission
  • Completing coursework towards a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, electronic marketing programs , and social media outlets
